About Antara

Become a Friend of Antara

Friends of Antara is an opportunity to create a closer connection with you becoming part of the Antara family.

As a member it comes with an intention to support Antara or its projects in some way. Helping is what we are about and where the magic happens.

You might like to help in the gardens or the kitchen at the retreat, be a clinic receptionist, help with building, donate, support with marketing, fundraise… There are many ways people find a way to help and becoming a member is a great way to start.

Antara's philosophy in its simplest form is oneness and love and our purpose is to encourage and support people into a life of service. If you align with our philosophy you are also welcome to become a Friend of Antara as part of your personal commitment to serving others.

Antara is run by a Committee of Lifetime Committed Members with everyone involved having a voice. Friends of Antara are welcome to attend and speak at all General Meetings including Special General Meetings and the Annual General Meeting. We have at least three of them a year.

You’ll be added to our communications lists and newsletters and receive information about events. Some of our events focus on helping those helping others. We’re also happy to offer opportunities to understand our philosophy and why some of us make helping a lifetime commitment.

Antara is a charity incorporated under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. Our rules, officers and important information can be found on the Charities Register by clicking here.

We would love to have you complete the friends of antara membership application form below.  Approval of your application is needed before you will become a member. At the latest this will be at our monthly meeting following which we can confirm your membership.

Thank you. We are as excited as you are!
